Obituary of Gary E. Patterson, Sr.

Gary Edgar Patterson, Sr., of Eastvale, Beaver Falls, Pa, passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Villa St. Joseph Personal Care Home. Born September 29, 1945 in Beaver Falls, Pa to the late Charles E. and Twila (Berresford) Patterson, Jr. He attended Riverside High School and was a longtime resident of North Sewickley. He was a founding member of Rod and Classic Auto Club and was in charge of the New Brighton car cruise for many years. He was excellent at wood carving and loved camping and being around family. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Shirilla Patterson; children, Debbie (Bob) Herko and Gary (Kathy) Patterson, Jr.; grandchildren, Amber (Jason) Hassen, Justin (Kailey) Herko, Josh Herko, Jessica (Matt) Patterson, Katie (Nick) Patterson, Melissa (Dylan) Patterson; great grandchildren, Alex and Emma Hassen, Jaxson Patterson and baby girl Patterson on the way; siblings, Shirley Schuster, Sandy (Alvin) Montgomery, Dawna (Ed) Holsinger; and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be a visitation on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 at Campbell's Chippewa Funeral Home, 2618 Darlington Road, Beaver Falls, Pa 15010. A service will be held on Thursday, June 16 at 11 am in the funeral home. Procession will follow to Concord United Methodist Church Cemetery.
