Russell C. Yoho, 67, of West Mayfield died Monday, December 18, 2017 in UPMC Shadyside, surrounded by his loving family after a brave and courageous battle with leukemia.
Born January 10, 1950 in Beaver Falls, PA, he was the son of the late Earl and Betty (Mitcheltree) Yoho. He was retired as a clerk at the Department of Health, Division of Vital Records in New Castle, PA. He was a member of the American Legion Post # 261 Beaver Falls and had served in the Marines during the Vietnam War. One of the main enjoyments in his life was his woodworking and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife of 33 years; Marge (Dixon) Yoho, West Mayfield; three sons, Ronald Dixon, David Dixon, and Robert Dixon; seven grandchildren: Ashley, David (Ashley) , Alannah, Joe and Todd Dixon, Amanda White, April (Larry) Parker; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister, Judy Powell; a sister-in-law, Eleanor Diamond; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Ronnie Dixon; brother, Jim Yoho; and two brothers-in-law, Jim Diamond and Cliff Powell.
Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-8 PM in the A.D. Campbell Funeral Home, 1326 Eighth Avenue, Beaver Falls where a Blessing Service will be conducted on Thursday at 11:00 AM.
The Veteran's Honor Guard will conduct full military rites at 10:45 AM at the funeral home.
Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Big Beaver Boro.
