Richard W. "Dick" Trenary Sr., age 87 of South Beaver Twp, died, Saturday, April 8, 2017 in Heritage Valley Beaver.
Dick was born June 23, 1929, in New Brighton, PA. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, New Brighton. He loved baseball, golf and was a former member of the Beaver Valley Chapter of the Barber Shop Harmony Society. He retired with 30 plus years service from Babcock & Wilcox as an Industrial Engineer and as an apprentice trainer. Dick graduated from Geneva College earning a degree in Engineering.
Surviving is his wife of 67 years, Rita C. Young Trenary, a son, Richard W. (Diane) Trenary, Jr., Jupiter, FL, 3 daughters, Jocelyn R. (Richard) Guidry, Mandeville, LA, Michele A. (Robert) Monnich, South Beaver Twp and Adele M. (Richard) Applegate, Rogers, OH, 4 grandchildren, Jason P. (Danielle) Heldreth, Jeremy C. Hill, Courtney N. Hill and Jennifer M. (Jonah) Davis, 3 great grandsons, Malachi, Adin and Levi Davis, 2 brothers Donald (Rhonda) Elliott, FL, John B. (Teri) Elliott, Beaver and a sister in law, Sara Trenary.
Dick was preceded in death by his mother and step father, Doris M. Brandenberger Elliott and Harris Elliott and a brother Charles N. Trenary
Friends will be received in the Campbell's Chippewa Funeral Home, 2618 Darlington Road, Tuesday, April 11, 2017 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. There will be a funeral procession from the funeral home Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 10am to Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Ellwood City for a graveside service at 11am.
