Jean Chambers, 60, of Enon Valley, PA, passed away the morning of Sunday, February 26, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospice, following a courageous 17-year battle with cancer. She was born December 9, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Hall, Sr. and Leona Hall (Cook).
Jean grew up in New Brighton and graduated from New Brighton High School. She was previously a member of the New Galilee Volunteer Fire Dept. and Ladies Auxiliary. Jean retired from cake decorating after more than 20 years, due to her illness. She enjoyed doing wood crafts with her husband, George, and spending time with her grandkids.
She is survived by her husband, George W. Chambers, Jr.; two daughters, Stephanie (Brian) Jansto and Jessica Boso; two stepdaughters, Tina Marie (Robert) Cox and Bobbi Jo (John) Stevens; one stepson, George R. Chambers; two sisters, Patricia and Maybelle; two brothers, William and Paul; five grandchildren, Kaedance, Evan, Elaina, Max, and Evalynn; four step-grandchildren, Amber, Zack, Brianna, and Adaline; and several nieces and nephews.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Leona and Raymond Hall, Sr., a brother, Raymond, and a step-granddaughter, Hazel.
Friends and family will be received at Campbell's Funeral Home in Chippewa; located at 2618 Darlington Road, Chippewa Twp. Beaver Falls, PA 15010 on Wednesday, March 1, from 2-4PM and 6-8PM and on Thursday, March 2, from 10-11AM with service to follow at 11AM. There will be a luncheon following the service at the New Galilee Fire Hall.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Funeral Home on behalf of the family. A memorial benefit dinner will be held at the New Galilee Fire Hall on Saturday, March 18 from 3PM-7PM
