Mary Joyce Lonkert

Mary J. Lonkert, 88, of South Beaver Twp. passed away Thursday April 27, 2017 in the Heritage Valley Beaver Emergency Department with her daughter by her side. Mary was born May 12, 1928 in Beaver Falls, PA to the late Mr. and Mrs. Mummey. Mary graduated High school and later married the late David A. Lonkert. Mary loved spending time at the casinos, especially Mountaineer, and also enjoyed sewing in her spare time. Surviving is her only child; daughter, Cynthia "Cindy" Lonkert of South Beaver Twp., two sisters; Betty Shasteen and Emma Pierce, and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers; John and Sam Mummey. As per Mary's wishes there will be no services.
