Margaret "Peggy" A. Carver, 80, of New Brighton died Thursday, December 28, 2017 in Good Samaritan Hospice, Heritage Valley Beaver.
Born October 1, 1937 in Beaver Falls, she was the daughter of the late Eugene And Fern (McKenzie) Weigle. She was a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church Beaver Falls. She was involved with PTA, Football Mothers and was a 5th ward judge of elections in New Brighton. Her hobbies included crocheting, knitting and ceramics. She helped make countless school spirit flags that can be seen all over Beaver County.
Surviving are her husband of 61 years, William "Bill" J. Carver; four children: Jacqueline Gorgas, Ft. Myers, FL, Mitch (Linda) Carver, New Brighton, Judith (Mike) Anthony, New Castle, PA, Janette Gaus, Koppel, PA; 12 grandchildren: Jesse Ward, Maggie Ward, Joshua Carver, Rachel (Chris) Fath, Brittany (Greg) Safran, Alyssa Carver, Shelby Carver, John Anthony, Nathan Anthony, Michael Anthony, Sarah Gaus and Mary Gaus; two great-grandsons: Sean Ward and Grayson Safran; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and very dear friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Donna Kaszer and Arlene Weigle; and a brother, Tom Weigle.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM in the A.D. Campbell Funeral Home, 1326 Eighth Avenue, Beaver Falls and Wednesday from 10 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM with Pastor Kim Rapczak officiating.
Interment will follow in Grove Cemetery, New Brighton, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made, if desired, to Good Samaritan Hospice, Development Office, Concordia Lutheran Ministries, 134 Marwood Road, Cabot, PA 16023 or your favorite charity.
