JoAnne Gishbaugher

JoAnne (Welsh) Gishbaugher, 85, passed peacefully on Thursday, September 12, 2019 in Seminole, FL after a short illness.

She was born February 11, 1934 in Negley, Ohio to the late David & Lenore (Dyke) Welsh. She was a devoted wife and partner to Jack Gishbaugher, who preceded her in death three years ago. They had been married for more than 64 years. Together they began and operated a Darlington business, Jack's Independent Service, Inc. JoAnne was the secretary and book keeper for 25 years. They retired to live in Florida in 1988. JoAnne was an avid reader and a student of all matters, spiritual and philosophical. Her wit and wisdom will be sorely missed.

She is survived by children, John (Evelyn) Gishbaugher, Greg (Mary Lou) Gishbaugher and Joy Gishbaugher; nine grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; sisters, Becky Luke and Bonnie Melvin; sister in law, Patricia Gishbaugher; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bill Welsh.

Friends and family will be received Wednesday, September 18, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm in Campbell's Chippewa Funeral Home, 2618 Darlington Road, Beaver Falls, PA 15010 with a service on Thursday morning in the funeral home at 10 am with Reverend Robert Saul officiating.
