Jimme R. "Pappy Hon" Pryor, Sr., 92, formerly of Koppel, Pa and Naples, Fl, is absent from the body and present with the Lord as of Wednesday, August 4, 2021 while residing in Elmcroft of Chippewa.
Born November 15, 1928 on College Hill, Beaver Falls, Pa to the late George and Mabel (Perkins) Pryor. After graduating from Beaver Falls High School he worked for B & W. He was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army where he served as a military policeman. He spent many years as the foreman for Northway Petroleum Equipment Company. Upon retirement he and his wife, Shirley resided in Naples, Fl where he developed a great love for fishing at the pier. Their condo was always open for conversation and coffee. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Shirley Ludwig Pryor; children, Jimme (Louise) Pryor, Jr.; Delia (Rick) Gilbert; grandchildren, Monica Justice, Andrew Weido and Morgan Gilbert; great grandchildren, Sean and Colin Justice; sister, Mabel Marshall; many nieces and nephews; "Florida kids", Mary and Tommy Toohey, Scott and Susan Ernst, Karen and Ken Martin; sisters-in-law, Delia (Carlos) Pisani and Jean Modro.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three infant sons; sister, Irma Harris and two brothers, George Jr. and Jack Pryor.
There was no visitation per his request.
There will be a memorial service on Sunday, August 15, 2021 from 2 pm to 4 pm at Campbell's Chippewa Funeral Home, 2618 Darlington Road, Beaver Falls, Pa 15010, with the Veteran's Honor Guard to begin at 2:30 pm and a service with Pastor Eric Kerr to follow.
