James Patrick Burns

James Patrick “Pat” Burns, age 67, of Beaver, PA, passed peacefully in his home, after a long courageous battle with cancer, on Monday, November 25, 2024. He was born in Beaver Falls, PA on June 10, 1957, and was the son of the late John and Edith Gibson Burns.

Pat is survived by his siblings, John Burns of Oakland, MD, Mary Kathleen George of Fayetteville, SC, and Richard Burns of Beaver Falls, PA. Pat is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family and dear friends.

In addition to his parents, Pat was preceded in death by his sister, Patty Jo Burns; and his brothers, Paul, Donald, and Thomas Burns.

Pat’s hobbies included a passion for all things trains and railroads. He enjoyed uploading You Tube videos of his latest railroad escapades and loved to teach his hobby to others. He was an avid DIY-er including mechanics, engineering, and remodeling and repairing his home.

Pat was a great storyteller and had a hilarious knack for words. Pat’s faith in God was unwavering even in the most difficult times. He had an unconditional love for Christ, and his positivity and faith were infectious.

Family and friends will gather on Friday, November 29, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at Noon at Campbell’s Chippewa Funeral Home, Inc., 2618 Darlington Road, Beaver Falls, PA 15010 (Randy R. Wheeler, supervisor, 724-843-2500).
