Helen Adella Zupsic

Helen A. Zupsic, age 88, of New Galilee, Pa, passed away peacefully due to a non Covid-19 related illness on Thursday, August 26, 2021. Surrounded by caring staff of the Beaver Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, after scratching off a lottery ticket, her husband George (Bull) Zupsic picked her up to join him in Heaven. Born April 30, 1933 to the late Franklin M. and Zaida (Witmer) Hinzman, Sr. Helen was kind hearted and lived for her grandchildren, and will be missed by many family members and friends. She was known as Mama Helen and Grandma Helen to many. She is survived by her two daughters and son-in-law, Kathy Zupsic and Janet (Alan) Carson; Six grandchildren and their spouses, Brian (Allison) Frum, Jennifer (Paul) Fidell, Bill (Lisa) Meyers, Melissa (Steve) Hovick, Tawnia Carpenter (Dave Denes), Matthew Carson; 14 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of almost 70 years, George Zupsic. There will be a visitation on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Campbell's Chippewa Funeral Home, 2618 Darlington Road, Beaver Falls, Pa 15010. A service will be held on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at 10 am in the funeral home with Master Catechist Marilyn Chesko officiating. Private interment will follow at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park. The family would like to thank the Beaver Valley Nursing and Rehab Center for taking such good care of Helen through these difficult and trying times.
