Gertrude M. Koehler

Gertrude M. Neumueller Koehler, age 88, of Monaca, PA, took her final bow on August 1, 2023. She started her lovely journey in her homeland of Germany on September 18, 1934. She came to America as a young woman to offer her assistance as an au pair. She married Howard Koehler and lived in Monaca most of her life. She became a splendid gardener showcasing her work of art and beauty in and around her home. She fancied good food and the gathering of great friends. Trudy was well traveled and appreciated all that life had to offer. She spent many hours in her latter years knitting and sipping tea. You will be missed greatly, and we will never forget your mischievous smile and robust laughter. It was Gertrude’s desire to be buried back in her homeland of Germany.
