Frances "Fayetta" Murphy, age 74, of Enon Valley, died Wednesday, January 11, 2017 in UPMC Jameson Hospital.
Fayetta was born November 17, 1942 in Baltimore, MD and was the daughter of the late William and Virginia Locke Diaz. She had worked as a cook at the Holiday Inn and was a proud Grandma "Football" and loved spending time with her family. She was an involved member of the Church of Christ and loved helping others and took her furry friend "Whitey" everywhere.
She is survived by 4 sons and 3 daughter in laws, Lewis Wayne (Melody) Murphy, Alabama, David (Georgiana) Murphy, OH, Gary (Denise) Murphy, and Jeffrey Murphy, 10 grandchildren, Mandy, Nicole, Ashley, Brian "Boz" Jr., AJ, Josh, DJ, Leah, Nathan and Hunter, 5 great grandchildren, Kelsey, Ariella, Kason, Jordan and Bo, 1 sister, Linda (Anthony) Lee and her beloved pet "Whitey".
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Lewis L. "Sonny" Murphy, a son Brian and daughter in law Tina Murphy.
Friends will be received Monday, January 16, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm in the Campbell's Chippewa Funeral Home, 2618 Darlington Road, Chippewa Twp and Tuesday, January 17, 2017, ll:00am until the time of service at 1pm in the Church of Christ, Struthers, 5775 Poland-Struthers Road, Poland Twp, OH 44514 with Rev. Jason Shodd officiating.
