Flora E. Blanarik, 96, of North Sewickley Township died Monday, December 5, 2016 in Providence Health Care.
Born September 9, 1920 in Beaver Falls, she was the daughter of the late Wesley and Elizabeth (Cox) Lonkert. She had worked as a machine operator for Westinghouse. She was an active member with Kingdom Hall in Ellwood City. Flora liked baking, quilting, and cooking and enjoyed square dancing. She was a very good seamstress.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Hazel (James) Allison, North Sewickley Twp.; a granddaughter, Tia (Gregory) Gunn, North Sewickley Twp.; three great-grandchildren:
Alexandra D'Errico, William Gunn and James Gunn; two sisters, Eleanor Mitchell and Janna Russell; a brother, Robert (Sarah) Lonkert; John Somerville of North Carolina whom she raised as one of her own; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three husbands, Joseph Franer in 1953, Robert Somerville, 1983, and Robert Blanarik in 2003; 5 sisters, Lucille, Mildred, Gail, Charlotte Wise, and infant Mary; and three brothers, John, Walter and James.
Friends will be received Wednesday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM in the A.D. Campbell Funeral Home, 1326 Eighth Avenue, Beaver Falls where funeral service will be conducted on Thursday at 11:00 AM.
Private interment will be in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester, PA.
