Edith Bonnie Perkins (Wimer), 83, of Beaver Falls, PA died Sunday, February 11, 2018 in her residence.
Born February 23, 1934 in Ellwood City, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Viola (Frazier) Wimer. She was a Sunday school teacher who enjoyed traveling with her sister and won blue ribbons for her crochet work. She loved cats and especially enjoyed giving strays a forever home.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Nye; a brother, Sonny Wimer; a sister, Beryle Wirth.
Surviving are a daughter: Amy Nicola, Painesville, OH; two sons and a daughter in law: Peter Perkins, OH; Michael (Leslie) Perkins, Painesville, OH; a granddaughter: Leah Nicola; two grandsons: Neil Mehne Perkins and Liam McCallister; two sisters: Dorothy Wimer, Beaver Falls, PA and Gloria Livingstone, Glen Burnie, MD; four nephews: Richard, Craig, Steven and Chuck; one niece, Marjorie.
Friends will be received on Thursday, February 15 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM in the A.D. Campbell Funeral Home, 1326 8th Avenue, Beaver Falls with an 11 AM service held on Friday.
Interment will follow at Wurtemburg Cemetery, Ellwood City, PA 16117.
