C. Dean Strosnider

C. Dean Strosnider, of Estero, FL passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Good Samaritan Hospice in Beaver, PA at the age of 91. Born in Washington, PA, he was the only child of the late Chalmers Strosnider and the late Velma Miller. e was theHe wHH Hh HHHH He was the loving husband for 20 years of Nancy Perrino Strosnider; father of Neil (Bronya); Dean(Denise); Jay (Dorothy) and Mark (Julie) Strosnider.

He was grandfather to Sara Cozzens, Brooke Strosnider, Carter, Colin and Sean Strosnider, Bill Strosnider, Anne Poole, JJ and Sam Strosnider, Blake Strosnider and Marlie Rosenberg. He was also the step-father of Nancy Perrino D'Ambrosi, Dennis (Vickie) Perrino, David (Chrissy) Perrino and the late Perry Perrino and Lou Perrino. He is also survived by numerous great- grandchildren.

Dean graduated from Geneva College with a degree in Industrial Engineering  after serving in the U.S. Army until 1949. He worked in the steel industry his entire career. He filled the last 33 years of his retirement with golf at Deer Trails Golf Club where he walked and carried. He also loved dancing, bowling, cards, cars, and Sudoku. His last social outing was to a fantasy football draft dinner; he served as secretary to the league for 30 years. As of today, his "team" is in first place. Dean had an eye for the analytical and was logical and fair in his dealings to a fault. He was proud of his family and his sons' successes.

Dean's family is especially grateful to the nurses and staff of The Good Samaritan Hospice at Heritage Valley Beaver. 

It was his wish that those who cared for him remember and celebrate his life and not his death. With respect for these wishes, the family will not be holding a memorial service but will honor him privately. In his memory , if desired, donation can be made to a favorite charity.

A.D. Campbell Funeral Home, 1326 Eighth Avenue, was in charge of the arrangements.
